Opinions Needed!!
Guys,
I have been getting a MASSIVE amount of e-mails from people wanting to know just when I am going to put something new up. I'm confident that a new chapter will be up the morning of August 1st. Until then, I am going to give you guys a little preview of a story that I have been working on. It's for Halloween and it's no where close to being done, but...it's something and I'd like your opinion on it before I continue with it. So, here it is:
SEVEN COFFINS--------------SAMPLE CHAPTER ONE-----------WHITE WALLS
Her poor excuse for a hospital gown spilled over her blue plaid pajamas. They had made her put on her cheap slippers just to walk down the hallway to the open room with white walls. Her eyes stayed fixed on no particular image, they just glazed over. She had no sense of space or time. Everything now melted together. Life was no longer about being late to school, drinking with friends or eating greasy burgers at the diner. It was an endless sleep, a blur, thanks to the massive amount of pills she was given everyday. This had been going on for 3 weeks. Ever since they found her wandering around after 5 days of missing muttering a nonsensical string of words.
Though she would usually be concerned about her appearance, at least enough to brush her hair, it didn't matter. The other kids that were locked away with her didn't have that luxury. She didn't want to have it, either. Not moving a muscle after they settled her into the chair in front of her doctor's desk, she stared down at the tattoo on her left arm. Just above her wrist. An outline of a 5 point star with blue lines around it, making it seem like a starburst. It didn't mean anything to her anymore. The memory stayed, but she would have rather not talked about it.
That all changed when the doctor in his long white coat sat across from her.
Doctor: Anna, I know that we have been through this before, but I would like an answer this time.
Anna: An answer to what?
Doctor: To what happened before you were found.
Anna: Found where?
Doctor: Anna...please, just tell me. We need to know this so that we can help you.
Anna: Why should I tell you? I'm sure that you already know about my friends.
Doctor: Yes, I know about your friends. Such a shame what happened to them. But, we need to know what happened.
Anna: It's hard to explain and I don't know if I'm strong enough. We went there as a joke. A lot of kids do it. Maybe that's why so many mothers mourn their children now. Mourn the memories of them that are staring to fade.
Doctor: Then please, Anna, tell me everything that happened there.
Anna: *sighs* If I do, what will it get me?
Doctor: It might help you get out of here.
Anna: That simple?
Doctor: That simple. Free and clear.
She shook her head and looked back down to her starburst tattoo. That's when she knew that she had to tell him about everything in order to not only be free, but to clear her conscience.

Bright morning sunshine poured through the window to light up the bed covered in white sheets. The blankets were messy but managed to cover two sleeping bodies. His lightly tanned arms wrapped around the chest of her bright green T-shirt. Neither one of them had moved since 1AM when they had finally fallen asleep. They had stayed up late watching "Super Troopers" and cuddling.
With a slight movement of her body against his, he nuzzled his nose against her orange blossom scented hair. It was soft and comforting. The perfect way to wake up on a Saturday morning. He slid closer to her and gave her a slight squeeze. The warmth of her body against his almost sent shivers up his spine. Releasing his grip from around her, he brought a hand down over her stomach and then her uncovered hip.
Brushing his lips against the nape of her neck, he let his thumb run against the thick blue band on her boy-cut panties. He couldn't help but let his lips curl into a smile when he felt her move against his hand.
Frankie: Good morning, honey-bunny.
Anna: (pulling his arm around her again) Good morning, snuggle bear.
Frankie: I love when you call me that.
Anna: (smiles and kisses his arm) I know you do.
Frankie: Do we have anything we need to do today?
Anna: Hmmm....yes, but not until later on tonight.
Frankie: A party?
Anna: No, Amy asked me to come with her and some friends to this house.
Frankie: A house? She thinking about moving again?
Anna: I don't think so. They just want to explore it.
Frankie: Exploration of some old house. Wonder if it's haunted.
Anna: That might be why they're going.
Frankie: Do I have to come with you?
Anna: (shifts so she comes face to face with him) No, you don't have to. You can stay at home and clean the bathroom.
Frankie: Since you put it that way, I am going.
Frankie slid out from underneath the covers and stood up. His bright red hair was still spiked from the night before and his extremely pale skin glistened in the sunlight. Anna couldn't help but let her gaze stayed glued to the movements of his body as he walked into the bathroom naked. She smiled to herself, enjoying the view.
Once the bathroom door shut, Anna pulled the sheets to her chest and cuddled against them. The smell of Frankie's Axe had stayed against them. She loved when he stayed the night with her. In addition to the amazing sex, the cuddling was great. The feel of his arms wrapped around her made her feel safe and kept her warmer than she could have ever imagined someone else's arms could.
Deciding it best to get up, Anna pushed the sheets off herself and walked over to her dresser drawer. She quickly pulled on a pair of fresh panties, a pair of drawstring pants and a black tank with built-in bra. While she continued to wait for Frankie to emerge from the bathroom, she brushed her hair and braided it on either side of her head.
Today was just going to be a comfortable day. Some lounging around the apartment, drinking whatever Internation Coffee she had in her kitchen and catching up on reading the magazines that were stacked on her coffee table. She knew that Frankie wouldn't be staying much longer. He had to get to the record store and open before 11 so that he would be able to get off by 5.
Her attention turned to the bathroom door as it opened up. Frankie walked out of the bathroom wearing the same clothes he wore the night before. Somehow, the combination still looked good. He walked up to Anna and gave her a soft kiss on the cheek.
Frankie: I'll be back a little after 5 so we can go "ghostbusting".
Anna: Okay, snuggle bear.
Frankie: (smiles and flicks the bobs of her pigtails) I love you more than mac and cheese.
Anna: (gives him a quick kiss, smiling against his lips) I love you more than apple pie a la mode.
The smile on Frankie's face lit up considerably. Once he took his leave, Anna did just what she planned on doing. She walked into her livingroom, got comfortable on her couch and pulled up the latest issue of "Cosmo".
